En nombre del Pueblo y Gobierno de Reconciliación y Unidad Nacional de la República de Nicaragua, y en nuestro propio nombre, hacemos llegar a Usted, a su Gobierno y al Hermano Pueblo de la República de Benín, nuestras más cálidas y fraternas felicitaciones, al conmemorarse este próximo 1 de Agosto el 66º Aniversario de la Proclamación de la Independencia de Benín.
Esta significativa Efeméride simboliza la Victoria de los Ideales de Libertad, Dignidad y Autodeterminación sobre el Colonialismo y las injusticias históricas que marcaron a África durante siglos, Victorias que continúan inspirando los esfuerzos de Benín por avanzar en Paz, Unidad y Desarrollo, preservando siempre su Independencia y Soberanía.
Desde nuestra Nicaragua, Bendita y Siempre Libre, celebramos junto al Hermano Pueblo de Benín esta importante Efeméride y reiteramos nuestra voluntad de continuar fortaleciendo los históricos Lazos de Amistad, Solidaridad y Cooperación que unen a nuestros Pueblos y Gobiernos, sustentados en el respeto mutuo e igualdad soberana.

On behalf of the People and Government of Reconciliation and National Unity of the Republic of Nicaragua, and on our own behalf, we have the honor to extend to you, to your Government and to the brotherly People of the Republic of Benin, our warmest and most fraternal congratulations, on the commemoration of the 66th Anniversary of the Proclamation of Independence of Benin on 1 August.
This significant event symbolizes the victory of the ideals of freedom, dignity and self-determination over colonialism and the historical injustices that marked Africa for centuries, victories that continue to inspire Benin’s efforts to advance in peace, unity and development, while preserving its independence and sovereignty.
From our Nicaragua, Blessed and Always Free, we celebrate together with the brotherly People of Benin this important event and we reiterate our willingness to continue strengthening the historic ties of friendship, solidarity and cooperation that unite our peoples and governments, based on mutual respect and sovereign equality.
