A very good afternoon, Compañeras and Compañeros. Health to our Blessed Nicaragua…! Health to our Nicaragua of Life, of Enlightenment, of Heart, of True Life! Health to Nicaragua, because We Go Always Further On, and because We are All Moving Onward Together. Nicaragua Triumphs, in Peace and Unity! Health to Nicaragua!
The scarecrows are outrage… they scream and cry, but all that comes out is straw, because straw is what they’re made of, they are nothing, they have nothing, they are no longer anything any more, nobodies.
As we begin this Month of Love for our Patriotic Nation, we are all Andrés and all of us are Always Further On, with our Heroes, our Heroines, our Brave Forebears, never the cowards and traitors, who no longer have a Nation.
In this Month of Love for our Patriotic Nation, We Go Onward, with our Future illuminated, because we create it All Together, such that Hope and Joy fill our Soil and our Skies, where we are United in our Souls, in Blessings, Well-Being, Prosperity and Victories.
In this Holy Month of the Patriotic Nation we have hoisted high our Honorable and Glorious Flags… We have sung the Eloquent Notes of our Anthems… We have said: Here we are, and here we pay homage to our Prodigious, Miraculous, Portentous, Blessed Nicaragua, and Forever Dignified and Free.
Today, the First of September, our Heart tells us that the Strength of the Love which makes and creates, Peace, moves us throughout our Sacred Geography, where we pay the greatest of tributes to God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit, to Christ Jesus who lives and reigns here, to the Faith that is our Strength, and to everything we achieve thanks to Our Lord, who marks our the routes of Brother and Sisterhood, of Unity and the Common Good.
In this splendid and sacrosanct land of ours, ours by the grace of God, we also declare ourselves, as always, Christian, committed to Solidarity, Socialist, People of the Father, People of God, who deeply appreciate all the paths of Harmony we travel, for His Glory, for His Victories.
Our Nicaragua shines out, because we have the Grace of Peace, of Harmony, of Love that deepens, because we know and believe that God, who illuminates and guides our steps, is Love, and as his children we are Defenders of Peace, which is abundant Love and supreme Blessing.
Today we visited San Jacinto, our temple, our tabernacle, our sanctuary, our Declaration of Independence. 205 years on, to Andrés we say: Your Stone is Hope… And we trust in the Heavenly Father who leads us towards new, great Paths, towards infinite Goals, towards a World which it is up to us to build every day, in supreme veneration to the Love of Loves, to Christ Jesus, to the prophetic vision of a Human Family that respects each other, who practice dialogue, who understand each other, a vision of the right of Peoples to live safely, peacefully, in Harmony, working for their Well-being.
This morning we have sworn in the President and Vice President of the Supreme Court of Justice, Dra. Ana Julia Guido and Dr. Manuel Fuerte, whom on behalf of our People we congratulate, confident that their work will be coherent and consistent, loyal to the Truth, Justice and extraordinary History of our People… a History of Noble Struggles for Peace.
This morning we have been preparing to visit Rubén, in his majestic resting place in the famous Royal Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, in León Santiago de los Caballeros. There we will deposit flowers representing and symbolizing of our unchanging commitment to Peace.
In the afternoon we will be holding the Session of the National Assembly, Pride of My Country, to consult, once again, and affirm in the First Legislature, the democratic Will of the Nicaraguan People, the People President, who have filled classrooms and auditoriums all over the country, confirming that our only Destiny is Dignity, Decorum, Sovereignty, and continuity of Peace, Security, Stability, Work, for the Well-being of Everyone and including Everyone.
And as we walk towards the national monument honoring the Heroism of Rigoberto, on the 70th Anniversary of his perfect decision to give up his Life, to offer his life to the routes of Triumphs against the permanent Somoza genocide, we are, at the same time, paying tribute to all the brave and courageous Combatants of Peace, of Love, for whose sake we will never give up in defense of our Right to be coherent and loyal to the ideals and values of Christianity and of our Revolution, which every day illuminate and inspire, which every day are stronger, in the certainty that Peace and Concord are the only way forward.
In this beautiful celebration of this First Day of the Month of our Patriotic Nation and Freedom, we cannot fail to mention the great Hero, Brian Wilson, whose heroic action turns 39 today, it was in 1987, when he left his legs on the rails of the Naval Weapons Station in Concord, California, giving everything for a World of Peace and where he lost the fear of being afraid… Giving everything for a world without wars… for a world beyond greed, injustice, imperialist impositions…
A world, we said, without wars, is what all of us want… That’s why Brian gave so much of himself. For a world beyond greed, avarice and imperialist impositions… A better World like the one we all want, to lift up, to elevate, surrendering to God and His Commands of Respect, Understanding, and to be, as we should be, Beings of Light, Beings of Life, Beings of True Truths, Beings and Families for Harmony, for complete Brotherand Sisterhood, for Solidarity, for Complementarity.
Our infinite Respect and Appreciation to Brian. Thank you, Brian. And many thanks to all the pacifists of the World whom he, Brian, represents so well, and to all the combative people who just want to live peacefully, safely, and beyond all will to dominate, or impositions leading to yet more sacrifices, more grief, more suffering, for the planetary Family and for the world’s Peoples who demand only the unquestionable right to live in complete safety, to live in Peace, leaving behind all the many forms of Poverty and Precariousness.
Thank you, Brian, and thank you, pacifist compañeros and compañeras of the World, thank you to everyone who over the centuries and decades has known how to be companions and activists in the cause of Justice, in the cause of Love and of the Right we all have to advance to the another World, that World which is the World of Joy. Let us live out “the Joyful Song announcing now a New Day”.
We wholeheartedly accompany each of these important events which represent us all and by means of which we all make clear as can be that here we are and we are made for Vigor, Glory, Freedom, for an integral Humanity full to overflowing with the colors of a permanent Rainbow, where beautiful Peace beyond price shines out.
Our Patriotic Nation is no fiction… Our Patriotic Nation is not some foolish contrivance of a handful… Our Patriotic Nation is this Revolution strengthening the Democracy of a People who is President.
Our Patriotic Nation is the Youth creating our Bright Future… Our Patriotic Nation is that Dream which all of us cherish, of a Firmament, of a Soil, a Land of Everyone, for the Good of Everyone… To grow, to learn, keeping our feet on the ground, as we like to say… So that everything we are and do serves all of us.
Our Patriotic Nation, which is real, is the inalienable Heritage of those we love, all of us who are and will be, lucid combatants for Love of our Neighbor. The Patriotic Nation in Evolution!
Always Further On, Compañeras and Compañeros, All Together as We Go Onward. And on this First Day of this Month of our Patriotic Nation, let us all embrace each other as Nicaraguans, by the Grace of God, singing, shouting, as we make Nicaragua Triumph and Triumph again in Peace and Unity!
