As we commemorate the 66th Anniversary of the Independence of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, we are pleased to convey, on behalf of the People and Government of Reconciliation and National Unity of the Republic of Nicaragua, and on our own, our warmest and most fraternal congratulations to you, your Government and the brotherly Nigerian people.
On this date of profound historical significance, we salute the Strength, Dignity and Determination of the People of Nigeria, who for more than six decades have defended their Sovereignty, their National Identity and their Right to build a future of Peace, Development, Social Justice and Prosperity.
We also recognize the important role that Nigeria plays in Africa and the Global South, as well as its contribution to strengthening cooperation, understanding and the search for common solutions to the challenges facing our peoples.
From our Nicaragua, Blessed and Always Free, we reiterate to you our best wishes for Health, Well-being and new Victories, and we express our firm will to continue strengthening the bonds of Friendship, Solidarity and Cooperation between our Peoples and Governments.
